Dr. Franmis J. Rodríguez Jiménez Recognized as Researcher of the Year 2025 for the San Francisco de Macorís Campus

The Institute of Physics of the Faculty of Sciences at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) is pleased to announce that researcher Dr. Franmis J. Rodríguez Jiménez has been awarded, for the second consecutive year, the title of Researcher of the Year 2025 for the San Francisco de Macorís Campus.

Dr. Rodríguez Jiménez, a distinguished member of our institute, has been recognized for his significant contributions and scientific production in the field of Physics Education.

The award was presented by the Vice-Rector for Research and Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Radhamés Silverio González, during the 2025 Recognition Ceremony for Researchers, Coordinators, and Postgraduate Professors, held at the university's Aula Magna.

The event was also attended by distinguished academic authorities, including the General Director of the San Francisco de Macorís Campus, Prof. Roberto A. Marte G.; the Academic Sub-director, Prof. Judith Martínez; the Dean of the Faculty of Sciences, Prof. José Ferreira Capellán; and the Director of the Institute of Physics, Dr. Vladimir Pérez.
