Kety Mayelin Jiménez Tejeda holds a dual PhD in Information Engineering and Natural Sciences from the University of Padua and RWTH Aachen University. A member of the National Research Career (CNI), she currently serves as an Appointed Professor (Profesor Adscrito) at the School of Physics of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD). Her research expertise focuses on Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) and Soft X-ray science and technology applied to optics, specifically in the fabrication of thin-film filters. Additionally, she actively contributes to scientific outreach as the Communications Director for the Dominican Society of Physics (SoDoFi).
