UASD Opens Registration for its Renewed Academic Offer in Physics, Geophysics, and Atmospheric Sciences

Santo Domingo, R.D. – The School of Physics at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) enthusiastically announces that registration is now open for its renewed academic offer. Through the official student management platform, interested parties can access the updated curriculum for the Bachelor of Physics, as well as two new frontiers of knowledge at the institution: the Bachelor of Atmospheric Sciences and the Bachelor of Geophysics.
This enablement allows students to enroll in high-level programs designed under a competency-based approach that guarantees academic quality and curricular innovation. These plans have been developed in close coordination with the productive sector and comply with international standards, the National Development Strategy (END), and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
A Milestone for Dominican Science
The formal launch of these study plans took place on Wednesday, February 4, in the Faculty of Sciences' Board of Directors Room. The event was attended by prominent university authorities and academics, including:
