Baní, D.R. — The Institute of Physics is proud to announce the graduation of Saúl Enrique Castillo Maldonado as a new Bachelor of Science in Physics, during the recent ceremony held at the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD) Baní Campus on December 3rd.

Saúl Enrique, who serves as a research assistant at our Institute, completed his undergraduate studies with the defense of the thesis: “Contributions to the Quantum Study of Linearized Gravity”. This work, which explores gravitational interaction at small scales—a frontier topic in theoretical physics—was carried out under the co-advisorship of Mtro. Félix Antonio Cid and Dr. Nelphy de la Cruz Félix, a researcher at our institution.

The Institute of Physics extends its sincerest congratulations to the new graduate on this significant academic achievement. We wish him the greatest success in his scientific and professional future, confident that he will continue to make meaningful contributions to the development of physics in the Dominican Republic.
