Nelphy De la Cruz Félix is a Ph.D. in Physics specializing in Statistical Mechanics and Computational Simulation, with a focus on the adsorption of flexible objects on lattices, percolation phenomena, and surface growth. As a National Career Researcher attached to MESCYT and a professor at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), she leads research projects utilizing Monte Carlo methods and Density Functional Theory (DFT), having authored pioneering publications in Physical Review E in the Dominican Republic.
